Please can we ask all villagers to take a look around their homes - there is a Siamese kitten missing from south (garage) end of Alton Road. Five month old so half-grown, microchipped and registered to Hook vets. Super friendly, hasn’t wandered before. Pink collar, dark face, ears, legs and tail, blue eyes and cream body. Sweetheart with a loud meow and lots of purrs. Please check sheds, outhouses, garages etc.

We have been advised by the council that all vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the entire length of Froyle Lane from its junction with the B3349 Alton Road to its junction with Copse Lane, as indicated by traffic signs. The closure is necessary on safety grounds to allow for works on behalf of BT Openreach.
It's likely to be closed for up to four days. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
An alternate route, from the northern point of closure via B3349 Alton Road, Hayley Lane, The Street, and Copse Lane to southern point of closure and vice versa, will be indicated by traffic signs.
We have recently changed over to our new village website - it's still a work in progress and some content will be added in the coming weeks. If there is something missing on the site that you feel we should include - please let Chris Preston know.
We are aiming to keep this site as an accurate source of information on the village and our local services - if anything is wrong, let us know! We've also added a Facebook page to our site, which allows us to share more news and for people to add their own events and comments.
There is a new after-school club starting up in Long Sutton. It will be taking place in All Saints Church from 3.15 – 4.15pm.
